Your Prayers are Making a Difference

I really see God at work in my life. I just wanted to update you on some things that are happening here in Cuernavaca. I know the prayers of the saints are making a difference. A few times I have asked for prayers for a man named Luis who is a electrician. On Saturday our family had a meal with Luis and his friend. Luis is a non-practicing Catholic and has a lot of questions and doubts about God and Christianity. I was able to tell them both about the historical reliability of the New Testament, why Christianity is the true message, compared to other religions (such as Islam), and tell them about what God has done in my life (all this was in Spanish so I am sure it was all hard to understand). In the end all I could do is offer Bible study, but I did not get a solid answer. My wife and daughters did a wonderful job serving them with warm hospitality. I hope you will continue to pray for Luis and his friend. Last week a new soul was added to the Kingdom of God. One of the nationals Baptized his friend into Christ (Rom.6:3-7; Gal.3:26,27; Acts2:38) Amen! Please know your prayers are a powerful resource. We have a new partnership in God’s mission! A congregation in Woodbury, Minnesota has agreed to partner with us in the reaching of the lost people in Mexico with the saving message of Jesus Christ (this is another pray request we asked you to pray for)! YOUR PRAYERS ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN GOD’S MISSION TO REACH THE LOST! THANK YOU.

Making Progress

God is blessing us here in Mexico. My Spanish is far from good, but with the help of your prayers and God’s power I am seeing some progress in my language learning. I have been able to read scripture and lead prayers in church on Sunday. Thank you for your prayers.
