Such a Blessing

May 26th was our families first year’s anniversary of living in Mexico. We can not express how much of a blessing this first year has been. I truly believe doing this first year internship was a great decision. We have learned so much about the language, culture, and mission work. The only bad part about doing this internship is we have become so close to the brothers at the Rio De Vida congregation. May 29th was our last Sunday worshipping with them and it was a real emotional experience. I had a chance to address the congregation and it was hard to even get the words out. I wish I could tell you how tough I was but the truth is I could not hold back the tears. Our two middle daughters Jasenia and Deasha really cried hard. This was also the last Sunday for Zack Williams who has been working with the youth for two years. We are excited to get started with our own work but at the same time sad to break away from the people we have grow to love..

Phase Two of our Mission

Our plan to start a new congregation is only about a month away. May 28th will be our last Sunday with the Rio De Vida congregation. This is going to be a hard transition as we have become very close to brothers at this congregation. We are planning to target the center of the city where there is no other congregation. Please keep in prayer our plans and that God will send many truth seekers into our path.

We Could Not Do This Without You

We want to express our gratitude to all of our supporters. We are fully aware that we could not be here in Mexico preaching the saving message of Jesus Christ without those who support us financially. We also know that God would not be working in the way He has been if it were not for your prayers. I can not put into words how much God has done in my life over this first year. I have been strongly convicted in the power of prayer by God’s word and what I see Him doing in our family’s lives. Our team is planning to start a new congregation in the center of the city as soon as June. We want to encourage all of our prayer partners to start praying that God will bless us in this effort and that God will send many truth seekers into our path. Please keep praying for our family because your prayers are making such a difference. Phil. 1:1-5 I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
